10 MOUNTAINS CHALLENGE!
10 Year Anniversary Medal Edition (2016–2026)

To celebrate 10 years of Mountain Girl, we are releasing an exclusive anniversary challenge for 2026.
Climb 10 mountains across 10 months and earn the official 10 Year Anniversary Medal.
This is not a mass participation event. It is a curated, premium challenge limited to 100 committed individuals only. Once all 100 places are secured, registration will close permanently.

The Challenge

The challenge runs from March to December 2026. Participants will climb, hike, run one mountain per month, completing a total of 10 mountains across 10 consecutive months.

Each mountain represents one year of the Mountain Girl journey from 2016 to 2026. This is more than a medal. It is a personal commitment to consistency, resilience and showing up for yourself.

This is a self-led challenge. You choose your mountains, plan your routes and complete them independently.
You will receive a link to free downloadable routes once the challenge commences.

The Anniversary Medal

Every participant who successfully completes all 10 mountains will receive the official 10 Year Anniversary Medal.
It will never be sold, reproduced or reissued. It can only be earned by completing the challenge within the 2026 timeframe.

Owning this medal signifies that you were part of a very small group who committed and completed.

Who This Is For

This challenge is for individuals who are ready to prioritise time outdoors, build a consistent mountain habit and be part of a focused, motivated and elite group.
It is not about speed. It is about commitment. It is about showing up each month and proving to yourself that you can sustain momentum across an entire year.

Why This Matters

Mountain Girl was built on the belief that the outdoors changes people.
This challenge directly aligns with Ordnance Survey’s #GetOutside movement, which encourages more people to explore, move and reconnect with the landscapes around them.

By committing to 10 mountains in 10 months, you are building a sustainable outdoor habit, discovering new routes, strengthening both physical and mental resilience and becoming part of a wider movement that champions time outside.

We are proud to support the spirit of #GetOutside by creating structured, meaningful reasons for people to step beyond their comfort zone and into the hills.

Exclusively 100 People

We have intentionally limited this challenge to just 100 participants to preserve its prestige and ensure a high standard of commitment.

There will be no second wave.
There will be no extended entry window.
There will be no additional medals produced.

When the 100 places are gone, registration will close.
